Air Canada AC791 – YYZ ✈ LAX Business Class

After a 2 hour layover in Toronto, and have US Immigrations in Canada (fascinating procedure), time to hop on the final segment back home to LAX… In 5-hours, back where the weather is better than anywhere else in the world. I know, just flew around it.

Of course, there is some technical problem, and some gadget in the cockpit needs replacing, so I figure, not a good time to ask to take a photo up there. Eventually the Canadian Bear Squad figures out which doo-dad is needed, and the flight is ready to take off, an hour late, indeed. It is a crisp and clear (and cold) Canadian morning in Toronto, and we get a full view of YYZ and all those Air Canada jets on parade… not a single new livery in sight, damn. Take-off and I am not even on the correct side to glimpse Toronto, next time.
   Breakfast is served, and thank goodness, the standard eggy thing, comes with Chicken Sausage, not pork, so good to be coming home.

It’s strange to be coming home from a foreign county and not go through US Immigrations and Customs, but really nice! Of course, like any sane American who travels, I have Global Entry, but going through all this in Toronto, was so much simpler, of course they don’t have quite the volume as LAX would. But I also think that they put out a twee better effort to make it a pleasant experience. And, I already have my adventure to Copenhagen planned to start with Air Canada, and in the back of the bus this next time, I am sure they will do just fine.
