A fun little “Jumper” flight from Johannesburg to Kruger National Park’s Skukuza Airport, run by South Africa Airlines offshoot, Airlink. Leaving from JUB frumpy domestic terminal, it was a bus ride to board the ERJ 135 on the tarmac. I love these little planes, and when flying alone, the single seat side is perfect. Great views of the landscape as you enter Safari Country.
On the return, was given the pleasure of flying on my first AVRO RJ85… and loved this little British jet. With the wings above the fuselage, the views on the return were even better.
Both ways a quick snack and beverage served, and the safety speech ended with our lovely Flight Attendant requesting that should she become incapacitated in an emergency, to not forget to toss her off the plane prior to the last one making an emergency escape. A real fun adventure flight.
