Skukuza Airport is one of those places where you land and go… “what a cute place”.
Opened in 2014, it’s all new and open air and makes you happy to be there. Built to be one of the main entry points for Kruger National Park and the safari preserves in the area, ith only 3 Airlink commercial flights a day and a few private flights, it is quiet, clean and peaceful. My current favorite small pleasant airports of the world. Hope I stumble upon a few more of the next few years, makes the journey so sweet.
