The Brando

One of the more famous of private islands resorts, and for good reason. The Brando is an excellent resort. As an ecological study space they are doing amazing work on the atoll as well.

The Brando is a unique luxury resort on French Polynesia’s breathtakingly beautiful atoll of Tetiaroa. It sits on one of a dozen small islands (motus) that surround a spectacular three-mile wide lagoon. The motus are all privately owned and available exclusively to the resort’s guests and visiting researchers.

With access to the atoll by a 20-minute private plane flight from Tahiti, the all-inclusive resort features 36 secluded villas with private pools on beautiful white-sand beaches frequented by sea turtles and exotic birds. On July 1, 2019, a spectacular three-bedroom residence (equipped with an additional fourth bedroom serving as staff quarters), Teremoana, was unveiled. This Polynesian style resort offers three restaurants showcasing Polynesian-inspired dishes, East/West fusion, classic French cuisine and Japanese specialties. The all-day Beachcomber Cafe is the main restaurant, and superb gastronomic dinners are served at Les Mutines. Nami is an intimate, eight-guest venue serving delectable teppanyaki prepared by chef Kaito Nakamura.
