Finnair makes it very easy and a pleasure to get to Finland

For some reason, many prefer winter in Helsinki, which is much milder than one would expect. This would make it a good year-round experience, pending on your love of cold nordic climate.

Part of the EU & Schengen, so once in Europe it is a simple to enter Finland.

Finland uses the Euro.

I had quite a pleasant meal at the 1-Star Michelin Restaurant. More casual than I initially expected, but a welcoming space. A good place for a special meal while in Helsinki.

The Design District
A great area for seeing modern Finish Design and Architecture. With some extremely good shops featuring new Finish Designers and Artists. All closely located to the Design Museum and the Architectural Museum.
